IT Comtor (Japanese) – AI Product (Offshore)

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Comtor to bridge communication between our Vietnam AI Product team and Japanese customers.
You will support offshore software development projects, ensuring accurate communication of business requirements, technical discussions, project progress, and documentation.
Responsibilities
• Interpret (Japanese ⇄ Vietnamese/English) during meetings with Japanese clients.
• Translate project documents, specifications, manuals, meeting minutes, and emails.
• Coordinate communication between Product Manager, Engineering, QA, and Japanese stakeholders.
• Clarify business requirements and support requirement analysis.
• Track action items and follow up with both development team and customers.
• Support UAT, product demonstrations, and customer training when required.
• Assist Project Manager in daily project coordination.
Requirements
• Japanese proficiency: JLPT N2 or above (N1 preferred).
• 2+ years of experience as an IT Comtor or BrSE in software development projects.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience working with offshore development projects for Japanese customers.
• Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• English communication is a plus.
• Experience in AI, SaaS, Cloud, Chatbot, Generative AI, or enterprise software is preferred.
Nice to Have 
Experience with AI products, LLM, Chatbot, Voicebot, or AI Agent solutions.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, and system architecture.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
