General responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features from wireframes and mockups, as well as high fidelity prototypes
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with designers to design and maintain design system. Review code to make sure it is up to standard in design system.

Additional responsibilities:

• Give presentations to other members of the team (every 2-3 months)

Skills and knowledge

Technical skills:
Prerequisites:

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks React
• Experience with Material UI design system
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with testing tools (Jest, Enzyme)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with Figma
• Strong knowledge of visual design fundamentals (typography, color, layout, etc.)
• Able to identify and troubleshoot UX problems (performance, responsiveness, etc.)

Optional:

• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with Storybook
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with charting libraries (D3.js, Highcharts, etc.)
• Strong foundational knowledge Visual design and Interaction design, Information architecture
• Strong foundational knowledge about Accessibility

Soft skills:
Prerequisites:

• Communication skills: able to communicate with team members, able to give comments and feedbacks about the system

Optional:

• Continuous learning skills: able to read and understand English documents, able to learn new skills by yourself, able to learn from MOOCs platforms (Udemy, Coursera, etc.)
• Able to read English books (emphasizing on technical books)
• Experience with working in Agile/Scrum environment using Jira
