Job Responsibilities:

• Continuous Operations Management:
  • Ensure cloud services operate smoothly and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure systems are always available and have high recovery capabilities.
• Process Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and legal regulations.
  • Create and maintain operational process documentation.
• Project Management:
  • Plan and manage cloud system expansion and upgrade projects.
  • Coordinate projects across technical and business departments.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Resource Management:
  • Manage and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Forecast resource needs and plan appropriate expansions.
  • Monitor and manage the budget for cloud operations.
• Team Leadership:
  • Manage and guide the cloud operations technical team.
  • Evaluate team performance and develop employees’ skills.
  • Set goals and KPIs for the operations team.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate reports on service performance and operational activities.
  • Analyze operational data to propose improvements.
  • Assess and report on risks related to cloud operations.
• Incident Management and Remediation:
  • Ensure incident handling processes are executed promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure system availability.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Technology Management, or related fields.
• Experience: More than 6 years of experience in managing cloud operations or related roles, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
  • Understanding of system monitoring and management tools (Zabbix, Prometheus).
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira, Freshdesk.
• Additional Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and rapidly changing environment.
  • Data analysis skills and data-driven decision-making.
• Preferred Skills:
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Experience working in a cloud service provider environment or large data centers.
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum.
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting resources effectively.
