General responsibilities

Operational / Tactical

• Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion
• Identify specific business opportunities
• Collaborate with product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents (URD/ SRS) basing on roadmap features and user stories
• Influence stakeholders to support business projects
• Coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes
• Test business processes and recommend improvements
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to understand business performance
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks and to make improvements
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders

Management/ Strategic:

• Assist with project management for selected projects
• Participate in community group’s activities to research new technology, sharing knowledge between FCI/ BSS teams
• Participate in 1-1 review with team leader / line manager for progress reporting and feedback and career development

Report to:

• PM/ Scrum Master, PO for requirement/ business issues/ bugs, metrics
• Product Manager / Line manager for day to day works and supports, career path and development

Hard skills:

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or IT.
• Certification in BA role/ work experience is strongly preferred
• Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience is strongly preferred
• A minimum of 2 years experience in BA (Able to implement all tactical general responsibilities which mentioned above)
• Knowledge of software development, database management
• Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive

Optional: having the following skills is an advantage

• JIRA / Confluence
• Agile/ Scrum knowledge & experience
• Data analytic tool (Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytic, Excel, Python, Tableau)

Business expertise

Prerequisites:

• Have general understanding on computer science topics (client, server)

Optional:

• Have general understanding of how Cloud provider works. Have experience working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Digital Ocean / Linode)
• Have strong technical background is a plus point
• Have general understanding on healthcare/ hospital related topics is a plus point
